You can use it to apply for an e-Medical Visa on India's official e-Visa portal or at your local Indian mission. Up to two companions can apply for e-Medical Attendant Visas.
How long do I need to stay in Mumbai for fertility treatment, IVF, or laparoscopic surgery?
Stay duration depends on the clinical procedure: comprehensive fertility investigations and IUI cycles typically require 7–10 days. An IVF or ICSI cycle, coordinated through partner hospitals, usually takes around three weeks. After laparoscopic surgery, the hospital stay is usually 1–2 days, followed by several days of recovery in Mumbai before the doctor clears you to fly. Your own plan states the expected length of stay.

Valid government-issued passports, marriage certificates, and medical history files are required. Please note that commercial surrogacy is legally prohibited for foreign nationals under Indian law.
