How long does the Indian Medical Visa (MED) take to get approved?

Processing times are set by the Government of India and change from time to time. India's official e-Visa portal asks applicants to apply at least 4 days before arrival; check current guidance there and apply as early as you can.

Can family members travel with me on a medical visa?

Yes. Up to two accompanying family members or caregivers can apply for a Medical Attendant Visa (MED-X) alongside the primary patient, using the same invitation letter.

Do you help with airport pickup and hotel booking?

Yes - the international desk can help arrange an airport pickup and suggest hotels and serviced apartments near the hospital in Kurla West and BKC.

What if my stay needs to be extended for medical reasons?

We provide hospital documentation and doctor certificates to support a visa extension or FRRO registration if your recovery timeline runs longer than planned.
